Hong Kong's government information is excellent but spread across dozens of department websites. Hello Hong Kong! lets you ask a plain question and get a short answer with the steps, fees and documents, plus a link to the official page it came from.
How it works
- Your question is checked in your browser, and any HKID or phone number is removed.
- We search official websites only: every *.gov.hk site plus public bodies such as the MPFA, Hospital Authority, Judiciary and Housing Society.
- An AI model reads those pages and writes an answer that cites them with numbered sources. If the pages don't cover your question, it says it doesn't know.

- This is an independent project. It is not run by or affiliated with the HKSAR Government.
- AI can make mistakes. Always confirm fees, eligibility and deadlines on the official page before you act.
- For a personal case, contact the department directly, call 1823, or consult a professional.
- This site doesn't store your questions or answers. They are passed to our search and AI providers only to produce the answer.
- The news ticker shows headlines from news.gov.hk and warnings from the Hong Kong Observatory.
- We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It never receives your questions.
